Easy to set up!
Bought to replace an older NetGear that was at end of life stage. Replaced with the Cax30 series. So far very pleased with this unit. It able to set up or get help.
Set up not working. Called help number waited on line for over 30 minutes to hear repeatedly someone would be with me shortly. Gave up. Still not setup.

Setup not so easy. Too early for a review
Not everyone likes using Apps. Instruction book and a simple transition from an outdated Netgear product are far from each other. I am sure to love the actual product. It's just too early to give a true review.

Nighthawk AX8 Best combo modem router
An Internet search confirmed the Nighthawk AX8 to be the best over all performing combo modem router. I have had. three Nighthawk modem routers over recent years and have found they are excellent. They deserve their best ranking status.

Excellent Router
Pretty easy to set up, only took about 15 minuets, but I am not an expert. Had to go to the Xfinity website to connect, but that was not too hard. It did mess up the router I have in a house next door, but that got straightened out So far the signal from the new router is better that the old one and has been stable for many weeks.

Reduces clutter, but hard to configure
Replaced a cable modem and a router with this combo, which reduced clutter. But I've found it impossible to use 5G with my WiFi7 motherboard. Tools like Claude Code are unable to communicate with their server. Works fine in 2.4.

Nighthawk Soars
I just purchased the Nighthawk after having house fire and being gone 14 months from our home. The Nighthawk is so fast, I did a speed test and checked my internet plan. I pay for 400 mps and it clocked at 477mps. Easy to plug and play install, worth every penny.

Best one yet!
This Gateway has been a lifesaver. Easy installation, I got everything set up running within 20 minutes. I work from home and have multiple devices that need a strong, stable connection and this works perfectly. Thought about getting the 30s and I don't regret getting the router modem CAX80. Hands down!

Works great
Works great but had lots of issues with Xfinity setting up. So was on the phone with the for over an hour. Once hooked up though it’s great!
