Great reliable router easy to set up
This router was set up in minutes. It is reliable, easy to use, and is small enough to be discreetly placed in a central living space. I had the opportunity to upgrade to a “free” Xfi Gateway but refused as we find this Nighthawk Modem/Router combo to be outstanding.

Needs to have it current
The modem I received is from 2020, and even though they say firmware is uptodate, the components are old. Besides, wifi only covers 1500 Sq feet, when other similar priced modem routes give upto 5000 sq feet range. Even my older C7800 was much better than this one. Hopefully netgear will come up with updated CAX80 soon.

Works well, but installation and programming are still lacking.
Works very well. Good WiFi with limited distance. LAN is fast enough, although still not as fast as Comcast claims. It's smaller and more discrete than my last Nighthawk, but I sort of miss the "spaceship" look.

It’s a Win
Cax30 works well with Xfinity internet and saves money vs renting equipment from them. I had our last Netgear modem for 6 years before an upgrade was necessary.

Good modem bad app
The modem is good and the speeds are fast but the app was pulling so much data even when off that my s25 ultra warned me it was severely affecting the speed of my phone

Excellent product and fast!

It does the job.
This product works nicely at my house. My square footage is a little more than it was rated for, but it still does the job. I have many cameras and smart devices and everything works smoothly.
