Don't bother with anything else
This modem just works. It stays up, doesn't slow down and doesn't require constant reboots. This modem features a next gen chipset that fixes all the problems, slowdowns and frustrations from my old cable modem. My only complaint is this didn't come out sooner. I pull 1200mbps continuously out the 2.5gbps interface and it just keeps going.

Horrible modem
Avoid at all cost heres the deal Hooked up the cm2000 and is utter trash had my isp stop out said they ran tests from the modem and its a bad modem I need this fixed at cant pull anywhere near 100mb and I pay for 1 gigabyte 1000mbps

Made My internet Slower
After installing this modem I instantly noticed how web pages would load much slower and my gaming pings were inconsistent. I did buy a refurbished one so maybe that was the issue. though my speed tests would come back with a maxed out download speed (i have 300mbs and the speed tests would show between 275

Best modem so far
My old Nighth hawk Modem stop working and had to get a new one. This 2.5 g appears to be faster. I connected to my Night Hawk rotter with Cat8 cable. Cat8 transfer data faster for 2.5g modem. So far product works good. Although you need to have equipment that accept 2.5g in order to utilize full function of modem.

Dead after 4 months
First, it took close to an hour jumping through hoops and working with xfinity to get working. After 4 months, it just died. Do not recommend.

Rock Solid - Just Buy
I have used other brands and NONE have never been as rock solid as NETGEAR. What I like - Reliability, ZERO calls to tech support to troubleshoot issues - ZERO issues. Zero. Great product
This cable modem is amazing! However, it wasn't what I needed so I had to return it. I needed one that will connect to a switch and then connect to 4 other devices with a wired connection.

Solid choice
Needed to upgrade my 4 year old home cable modem so replaced my CM1150DV with this one - didnt need the VoIP support any more. Set up was a breeze, was up and running in less than 20 mins - 1 week later and have had zero issues.

fragile product and bad custom service
The specturm technician accidently dropped it from hand, at height about 0.5m. The inside of modem broke into pieces and stopped working. I asked custom service if there is any repair service even paid, the custom service simply told me it had been more than two years and it was out of warranty and asked me to find a local store.they don't even have suggestions for loc...

Awesome modem!
Needed a new modem to accommodate increased internet speed. Swapped out the Netgear CM700 for the CM2000. A quick call to the ISP and we were up and running in no time. Download speeds have improved greatly. Pairs perfectly with the Netgear R7000P router!

Best Modem at decent price

CM2000 modem wow
easy upgrade on Cox internet with great Cox representative. Now have speed I've been paying Cox for for months. Ties well with AX21 router from TPLink

Replacement of Xfinity Modem/Router
We are attempting to reduce our overall expenses and the Xfinity equipment rental fees was one way so we purchased a cable modem and wireless router from NetGear. It was an easy install because of good instructions and all is functioning as advertised and expected. We're very pleased. Thanks.

Faster and no freezes
The Netgear Nighthawk CM2000 modem is providing improved download speed and I no longer experience occassional freezes on work WebEx or Tesms calls. Very happy with this modem.
