It is a Apple Dongle Folks. It Just Works.
I visited my local Staples to check if they had this Apple dongle. Not on the rack in the store with other Apple dongles. Manager asked what I was looking for. He said he has some in the back of the store. He found one and I bought it. Saved me running around trying to find one. Not sure why they didn’t have them out for purchase. Oh well. I can now connect my brand new...

Works perfectly
It does what I bought it for. I have a 6 year old LaCie external drive that has a Thunderbolt 2 cable. I have a new iMac with 2 Thunderbolt 3/4 ports. I want to use the LaCie drive with my new iMac.
