interfere the main network
it was slowing down the network and make it continuously interrupted, so I decide to take it away and my network returned to normal

Works OK on 2.4gHz but has to be pretty close to the router to connect at 5gHz. Sometimes get an error message that two computers on the network have the same IP address. Sometimes can't access the setup screen using the browser address provided. Range at 2.4gHz is good. It seems to run pretty warm so not sure how much power it consumes being on 24/7. The extender was easy to set up. It quite powerful and very useful since both of my computer systems are at least 20 feet away from each other. Also, the walls between the systems are quite thick and not made of wood , so I was pleasantly surprised how efficient the extendewr was.

Just what I needed to get my Ring floodlight/camera to work!
My WiFi signal was not strong enough to connect to my Ring floodlight/camera. I tried moving the router closer but it did not work. After I installed the extender it works great. Another bonus is I can listen to Pandora on WiFi while working in the yard as well.

The device was not successful in solving the problem I was dealing with. I'm sure WiFi extenders do work in some situations, but I have found them to not generally be that effective. Every situation is different, and all one can do is try one. I've generally had much better luck installing wired access points, but you have to be willing to run the wire to use that so...
