Best shredder for the money!
I've gone through many cheap shredders in the past and I finally decided to spend a little more on this model. This shredder is a very solid model, quiet but powerful and I'm able to quickly process my papers without having to fiddle with the unit. Kept Jamming
If I ran more than 4 sheets of paper through it would jam. Then all of the little shreds would not suck down into the bottom so if you tried to run a sheet to clear the shreds they would prevent the machine from working. So I would spend 20 minutes trying to clear the feeder. I am shipping it back tomorrow. I have had good luck with Fellowes in the past but not this...

Great Purchase
This shredder was to replace another shredder that went bad. This has been a great replacement. It's quick, smooth, lightweight, and user friendly. The old shredder was heavy, cumbersome and was a pain to empty. So far this shredder has been the total opposite. gets jammed easy
always gets jammed & have to scrape out the jam with a ruler. Even doing one piece of paper at a time, waiting for it go completely through before starting another...it still gets clogged.

Redesign lost on me
Not quite the bear of a machine (Fellows 69cb Shredder) I had before. This bin is not as convenient to empty as my previous Fellows shredder as the bin access has been repositioned. Motor sounds lighter and thus will probably not last as long. Seems cheeper all around. Presently shreds well, as any thing new will be.

I have only had the shredder for a short time but so far it's great. I have a back-up of a lot of shredding to do as my previous shredder wasn't working. I bought the Fellowes Powershredder LX85 it's working great.

Great mid-sized shredder
Originally purchased a larger shredder/different brand that did not operate well at all. This one is the perfect size for under my desk and holds a lot. Not a single jam.

Economical Shredder
This model is perfect for home use to purge yearly files with taxes and investments papers. The caveat is the main body is of thin plastic construction with wheels. Wheels don't work well on carpets. Fellowes Powershred LX85
I just set it up and haven’t used it yet. It is much smaller than I expected but it is all I need as this time in my life. It has a lot of safety features and rolls easily so I can access the on/off switch - the only thing I find a little different from other shredders. It was shipped very quickly and I appreciate that since Staples doesn’t have a store in my area.

Almost great
Just got this shredder today. Really easy to assemble, no issue with getting it to run. I just find it a bit unfortunate that although there is a removal bin to make it easier to empty and keep things cleaner, when removing the bin paper pieces do fall from the shredder and go on the floor.
