I have not had an opportunity to install the print head yet, as HP will not follow up to walk me through to installation process.

Easy to install yourself
I wish I knew to remove my ink cartridges if the plotter wasn't going to be used for an extended period of time, but at least this was an easily replaceable item and did not break the bank. I'm glad it was in stock and that it came with 4 starter ink cartridges.

Replace printhead
The new replacement is working fine, but it's super frustrating that a $300 replacement printhead is even needed! My plotter is two years old and I probably print 15-20 24x36 size sheets a year.
