Love these paper mate pencils
I've used these pencils for many years but could not find them until I checked Quill. I used to purchase from Quill when I worked in an office and made supply purchases and have always been satisfied with Quill.

Inferior
Item totally unsatisfactory. Lead breaks too easily and - if it doesn't break it falls back inside. It may have been a good product in the past but no more.

Great Pencil
This is my go to ✏️ mechanical pencil! The lead is dark enough and it glides on paper like butter and doesn’t break as easily like others I’ve used. The eraser doesn’t smear and works perfectly!

These write really well because of the spring softening the pressure of the lead on the paper.

These are my favorite pencils!
These are my favorites!! I am a teacher and I only use these pencils because they’re always sharp and you can adjust how much lead is sticking out and the erasers work really well! The only downside is sometimes the clip on thing breaks off because it’s plastic; the old ones used to have a slip on metal piece I think.

So much easier than a regular wooden pencil. No need to sharpen easy to extend the lead.

Excellent pencils. They're all I use.
I write. I edit. I use pencils all the time. These are great. The PaperMate Sharpwriter is an excellent mechanical pencil. #2 lead is strong enough to write with fine enough for text and drawings. Eraser is effective doesn't tear paper. Each pencil certainly lasts long enough for me However would love to be able to reload or recycle them.

Great Pencil
For the person that does not like the click at the end. The twist is easy to use and the leads last longer then we can keep them. People love to walk away with the twist pencils which is why we buy the big box.
