Not happy with the number of pages produced!
This cartridge most definitely does not produce up to 200 pages before running out----MAYBE 50. I would Never buy this printer again for a work place that needs to make more than just a few copies, or print more than a few pages.

This ink lasts
We use HP 62XL black High-Yield and 62 Tai-Color Ink cartridges as a 2 pack and save money over buying just what ran out. It lasts a long time.

These are ink cartridges
Seriously? I have no choice about what ink cartridges I can use in this printer. No competition = outrageously high price. I consider it a necessary evil in modern life. It does not make me happy.

cartridges are less expensive than those of other brands but even the XL versions run out fast
For years I was a loyal user of Cannon and Epson printers but found the ink for those brands to be quite expensive. (As an adjunct professor teaching an average, between 2 colleges, 12-14 courses a year) so I print out tons of handouts for my students every semester. HP 62XL Black & Color Ink Cartridges (2-Pack)
I bought these cartridges for my printer last week. They are a good quality product, but do not last long after I purchase them. I find myself buying new ones every 3 months or so, and I do not do that much printing.
