Hate Google home - loved Google wifi app
I have used the Google Wifi app for several years and had absolutely no problems setting up or maintaining my mesh. But since they switched everything to the Google Home app it's a mess. Very difficult to find what I am looking for, can not control my mesh without searching for a long time. Please give us back Google Wifi?

Good not great
Had to buy two to replace one old router. However they are fast and easy to connect; and definitely nicer looking than most routers.

Great Service
Google fiber has been one of the best decisions I made in recently. They have a great customer service as well as reliable streaming. I have yet to have any interruptions in my day-to-day usage. I currently work from home and have to use the internet to connect to my company. There has been no problems whatsoever. I hope this stays the same and keeps up the great work.

wifi thoughts
the wifi works great anywhere in the house, it will work in the front yard but not in the back yard. that is ok cause when I am in the back I don't have anything with me that uses wifi

So-so internet connection
We have Ring cameras located on our 2nd story as well as a 2nd story bedroom with a TV. We still receive weak signal/no signal messages even with the new Google Fiber connections. We attempted to put our second google “box” in a 1st floor room that would be closer to the upstairs TV

best ive ever had
this wifi is the best. It is the fastest and the most connectable. I have had many issues in this house because of its construction. I have fiber optic system and it connects to the google units great and the speeds are unheard of. the phone companies

Switch to you tube
I hate this. I liked google tv just fine even if it was more expensive. This new streaming is so hard to navigate. I’m thinking of switching to spectrum.

New nest
I already owned the google wifi cones but wanted better coverage to my shop 100 ft away from my house. The install was relatively easy and straight forward. I did try to incorporate my old wifi with the new nest but in my situation the nest worked better without the old wifi cones so I took them out of the network. Easy setup
Easy Setup but with a neighbor that has powerful router and uses static channels on his equipment; I have issues with my Google Wi Fi. Wish I could customize some to work around issues like this. If you're experiencing connectivity issues, we recommend ensuring that your Google Wifi primary and secondary points are within a straight line of sight to get the best signal from each other. If you're using a modem/router combo, set it in bridge mode and disable its Wi-Fi functionality to avoid double NAT issues. You may then hardwire your Google Wifi primary point to the modem using an Ethernet cable and connect the other Google Wifi secondary points to the Primary to create a mesh network.

Eithernet Ports on devices stopped working.
I had the Google Mesh system installed for about a year. I recently upgraded my NAS backup device to a Western Digital My Cloud. It wasn’t working properly, then over night it stopped working. It turned out the Eithernet connection failed. I tried swapping Mesh devices to make one of the other devices the router, that worked only briefly as the Eithernet port failed ...

Best wifi ever
Super easy to set up, everyone at google fiber was so nice and explained everything until I fully understood how to set it up, pay my bill, etc. 10/10 wouldn’t use any other internet service.

Google Wifi review
Bought multiple access points and use it via ethernet to connect to devices like desktop PCs, rigs, etc. Very useful in that regard. Wireless works great with phones, tablets, laptops, etc. My ratio is 1 access point between 2-3 rooms and 1 access point for large living areas.

I love the mesh technology. It's easy to transition throughout my house with little to no connectivity loss traversing from AP to AP.
