Great Product
This is just what I needed for the job I'm doing. I scan a lot of 2 sided documents and this makes the job easier. Also it doesn't take up too much space.

Great scanner but Not quite Mac user friendly during set up.
I had a problem with downloading the Epson software on my Mac. I ended up having to use a paid help site to download the software. Once done the scanner worked great.

Scan software is unsuitable for medium to large businesses
The new software lacks the very simplest and most useful feature of old, reliable Epson Scan 2 and Scan Manager. Smart Scan only allows only one file destination and you cannot set scan profiles like before. Time Saver
The software was easy to download & it saved me a ton of time! You will need it close to your device because the plug is short but it doesn't take up much space & even closes to keep from accumulating dust while not in use. I'll order another one!!

Wonderful
This is a great piece of equipment. This scanner reads the front and back just by going through one time. It also has a lot of amenities that I love. Easy to install.

No Windows 10 support
Keep trying to install on Windows 10, still the most popular operating system currently in use. Go to support page and it tells me there is no software for your operating system. Try to install via Windoes device setup, it shows the device, ES-400II, but says the driver is unavailable.

Not a good user experience

Don't buy it
If are looking for a scanner keep scrolling past this one. Some of the scans look almost like the paper was melted. You can only use paper when you can get it to work. Forget medium weight card stock. Worst scanner ever. We are stuck with it not help from Quill and no help from Epson.

In use - Great
The Epson has been a wonderful addition to my desk top. The speed at which I can scan is far improved. It has shaved quite a bit of time off of my duties which of great value.

Ease of Set-up
The WorkForce ES is very easy to set up the device itself; and, downloading the driver is straight-forward. I recommend for moderate personal or small business use.

Not happy
I purchased my scanner to be able to utilize it as a mobile scanner. After I bought it, I had just assumed that it was wifi capable. Considering they have wifi capable before my model and after my model. Yes it was my fault for assuming. But I don’t understand why they didn’t just add that feature to this model as well
