I don't feel like I have a hairdryer blowing in my face!!!
I had just about given up on hand vacs. Every one I've tried previously, blew so much air out the back, I could have used them all to dry my hair!! This one has minimal air blowing from the sides, it's lightweight, easy to empty, and I absolutely LOVE the crevice tool! Plus the price was right.

Did not even last 6 months.
Worked well while it lasted, but broke after only 6 months of use.

Just stopped working
Had this unit for 6 months and it just stopped working. Won't charge, nothing. I used it about 100 times, that averages about $.50 a use. Waste of money!

Can't find any information on how to reattach the filter!
I recently took the filter out to clean it and it will not reconnect, and I cannot find any information online about how to reattach the filter. Maybe someone here can help, I'd hate to have to toss it!

Got the newer version
We ordered the BD30010 model but got the newer one, BD30011 (I see there is an even newer one now, BD30015). This one seems to be louder than the older BD30010 we had, with more suction. It also has a raised bit on the on/off switch that makes it easier to turn on or off. So that much was improved. It is still stiff to release thecrevice tool, but I guess you could sand...

Decent quick picker upper until it just stopped working..
I bought this a few months ago, and thinking Dirt devil was a good brand I tossed the box (now I cannot return)It was doing good then one day it just died and refused to recharge (blue light blinks repeatedly)

No Bracket
I purchased this product because I have come to know Dirt Devil to be reliable. When I unpacked the unit I was surprised that there was no bracket to hang the item. It leans against the floor. Disappointed

Won't charge
I loved this until it stopped charging a few months after purchase (nothing is visibly wrong with the charging port, I've tried multiple outlets that work for everything else). It's a waste of money.

The worst vaccum cleaner
Inefficient vacuum cleaner, extremely disappointed with the product. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even for the lightest use.

Great suction but hard to turn on or open flip!
We loved our 20 year old dirt devil and used it constantly. It still works but lost its 'oomph'.
The only issue so far with the new model is that the power button is really hard to turn on and we almost broke a finger trying to open the flip crevice tool. Maybe it will loosen up over time.

do not purchase
Takes 4 hours to charge, cant use it partially charged and then lasts 10 minutes. Not to mention the suction is horrible. Do not purchase. Much better handhelds out there than this one.

Wall hanging bracket
As stated in another review the vacuum would be more ideal if it came with a wall mounting bracket similar to what comes with small fire extinguishers. It would be worth paying the 50 cents more for one. Fortunately I am handy and made a bracket to hang over an outlet in my utility room. I love the suction and ease of use, lightweight too!
I would gladly give this a 5 star if it weren't for the fact that the power switch is tough to press. Really have to give it some push to get it 'on'. Otherwise I just LOVE it. Did no charge property but still works
When I received to vacuum it had a indicator light that was blinking when it was charging. The instructions said to call customer service for Dirt Devil which I did. They needed to do something called a 24 hour reset where I turn the machine on and completely drain the battery then recharge it. I did that and it worked fine although the indicator light was still blinkin...
