It works for a length for a decent amount of time. Reduce the price in the store. Hewlett Packer is very expensive. Now your receive only $2 return for empty cartridges'.

Black ink cartridge
The black ink cartridge was practically empty when I bought it..will return it when I have time to go back to store...very disappointed

HP 61 black and color
The HP 61 products have always worked well in my very basic printer. I haven't put them in yet because I just got my computer repaired at Staples and haven't needed to print anything. But I am sure I'll be as pleased as I have before.

I had 3 bad cartridges in the last 6 months. They have poor quality in their ink cartridges.

Hi Cindy I hear your sentiments about the bad ink cartridges. Having print quality issues is not the experience we wish our customers to have. I wish your review provided more details about the problems you saw. Was it faded ink? Streaking? The wrong colors? The first step is to check out your settings. The print quality setting adjusts if the ink is faded. If the problem is streaks clean the print rollers. Look for a leak or an empty cartridge if the colors are wrong.
