It works well but I wish I could have gotten the HP 61 xl that lasts longer.

Out of stock on the black/color combination pack.
I wanted to purchase the High Yield Black and color package. But the store didn't have any so I had to purchase 1 black and 1 color. Cost more and now I'll have to get ink again sooner.

61 Black Ink
The Gentlemen who helped me with the ink problem said I could use the 61 black ink instead of the 61XL for the kind of work I do since they've out also I had a empty black ink in and the copy machine wouldn't work . I would recommend the Black 61 Ink. I got home change the ink and it worked. Thanks to Him. Marci Schmit

Discontinued?
I was told by a staples associate that these cartridges are being discontinued I hope that is not so because I don't want to buy a new printer just because someone feels it's obsolete and I don't like refurbished cartridges (they leak).

This cartridge is cheaper at Staples then most other stores that sell ink cartridges. Usually lasts for several months if used for occasional printing jobs. Highly recommend buying this product.

no good product
the ink not work on my printer the cartridge is not compatible my printer is HP officejet 4632

Hi Luis I am very sorry that you had this problem. Since the HP 61 is the correct cartridge for the 4632 the message about incompatible cartridges means you might have a defective or damaged cartridge. If there is a fingerprint or some damage on the contacts the printer’s sensors might mistake it for the wrong cartridge. To see if that is the case carefully polish the copper contacts on the cartridge (and the matching ones inside the printer) with lint-free material to see if that helps the connection. If that does not work you can see about returning it to the seller. Mary HP Care hp.com/support

What did you think about your HP 61 Ink cartridge?
I think my printer ran out of ink so I bought an HP-61 (tri-color) ink cartridge put in my printer and printed. That's what I think.

I was looking for the long lasting cartridges. Staples was out of stock of both the black or tri-color. They have been out of stock for these cartridges for an exceptionally long time.
