Did not like the router. Upload and download speeds were great, but internet connection was very unstable.

So far, works great
I bought this router about 3 weeks ago and so far I've had no problems with it whatsoever, and the speeds I get are a lot faster than the router I had before (Netgear R6400v2).

a great router
I had to buy a range extender for my old outdated router. When I bought this router I found that the range extender was no longer needed and I got great signal strength.

Major Upgrade from Wifi5
I'd had my Netgear R-8000 for about five years. When we changed from cable to cellular wifi that's Wifi6, it began dropping connections. The speed and consistency of the AX6600 is such an improvement that makes a significant difference for my full-time work at home.

Great router, App is great as well!!

major upgrade
I recently purchased a NetGear Nighthawk AX8 Router they ratings where the best for internet security and that has proven to be true it even protects my phone. Gives me alerts of suspicious emails and websites. Highly recommend this unit!

Good router
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a good job, fast wifi, decent security features. Love that it looks like a spaceship because my friends all joke about it even after a couple years of owning the router.

Totally recommend!
I live in an area that has such poor cell service I was instructed to get wifi, in a small house I frequently dropped calls and had issues…until I got this bad boy! I’m so thankful I took the jump and got this! No dropped calls, no sluggish loading just a great product. I even used support to help me set it up and they were so kind and helpful!

Router exceeds my expectations. have a 2200 sq ft house with 2 stories, speed has drastically improved. wired service is great but the improvement over wifi 5 is way better than expected.

Best router for me
This router has been great so far. Set up was easy. Many options for someone more experienced with routers and wifi usage, but also simple enough for beginners. Coverage is great and I have strong signal in every room of my house including the basement.
