Great store
At Staples it is always easy to find help locating products the checkout is fast and they carry great products like this router. Another plus is that they open two hours earlier than the big tech store next door.

Can’t get the router function to work properly.
Wired router features difficult. Also says no internet when logging in through Linksys ap wirelessly but the wireless is working. I gave up making my main LAN router and moved to a room and using as simple wireless access. Too bad. Was looking forward to upgrading older Linksys router. Not a LAN expert but seems it isn’t up to easy not so advanced setups.

Better than expected
Bought this unit to replace my previous Linksys that was more limited as far as wired ethernet speed and Wifi range. So far has been better than expected as far as speed and range. Bonus was that I didn't need to download their app could still configure it via web browser.

Works great!
My beef with the newer AC1800 router was that you needed the Linksys app installed on a mobile device to do the initial setup. This one you don't! You can just use the web interface by going to its IP address and the instructions are pretty good on how to do this. Otherwise while this router doesn't support WiFi 6 it provides good speed and good range. In other words ...

ok but guest access does not work
guest access does not work and Linksys will not commit to when or if the issue will be fixed. if you need guest access then do not buy this router

There is no one perfect wifi router
Compared to Cisco of 6 years it is advanced. Compared to Netgear 1900 of 2 months ago it is so far keeping me happy. Like most wifi and modem systems having to unplug and restart nothing has changed. That troubleshooting advice is tattooed on every system. When they come out with a system that doesn't need to be rebooted from time to time then I will be 100% impressed.
