THE ITEM HAD A MAJOR PROBLEM IT FALLED TO WORK AT ALL IT SEAMS THAT YOUR TECH DO NOT DO A VERY GOOD JOB ON CHECKING ON ITEMS TO IF THEY ARE OK TO BE SOLD.

You get what you pay for
Admin console is extremely basic compared to other brands, plus Linksys app could not find the router (which seems to be a common problem with these). Stopped working a little over a year after installing.

Does the job.

Somewhat easy
Set up fairly easy. Router name and user name not well defined so I am not sure what a friend uses for the password vs which one is only for the owner.

Linksys AC1000 easy install, good download speed
The AC1000 was easy to install, but the download speeds. both ethernet and wifi, although high, were less than half of those experienced from the provider's router.

Staples staff member was wonderful in helping me select router and explaining it was easy to set up. (I am not tech savvy!) It was fairly simple although critical info. in directions about the pass code, etc. was in French which I do not read. But I was able to figure it out.

Good, fast, cheap
Simple clean design I've come to expect from Linksys, no wasted parts. Was impressed that IPv6 connectivity (prefix delegation) came up out of the box. Excellent value for the money.
