Lamp is good. Provides ample light. Have not used the magnifier yet, but it appears to be useful.

Staples v b. Led light
I am using it attached to an end table. The insert into the clamp doesn’t hold it in place. It has come out several times. I am using super glue on the thie insert to hold in place, but I am concerned about it falling

Works as expected
I needed a small lamp to fit in a small space near my laptop. Originally, I'd considered a different lamp, but decided on this one, not for the magnifying feature, but because it offers the option of a clamp as well as a stand. The stand didn't fit in the space allowed, but I was able to use the clamp on a near by edge. It's a bit too bright, but I can deal with that...

GREAT LAMP WITH MAGNIFIER
I bought this lamp for a project which required a magnifier to easily view serial numbers. Both the arm of this lamp and the round magnifier window can be adjusted to a multitude of positions to make it just right for any project. I highly recommend it.

Lamp needs some features
This lamp is height adjustable, but forward extension is limited to a few inches. The brightness level and color 'temperature" is not variable. The lamp needs an on/off switch on the lamp base, not in the power cord, A USB charging port would be a welcome addition and is common in other products at this price point.

Poor quality mechanism with adequate light
I have numerous small lamps like this through out my home, some of which were purchased at Staples (Ott Lights). This one, however, is very fragile and I haven't yet decided where I might use it due to that factor. I did decide to keep it however, as the light is bright, but the mechanism is of inferior quality.
