Bulky
I’ve tried many different car mounts for my phone- this one is too bulky for my vent and “swings” back and forth. Almost like a defected mount. It pops off and crashes onto my knees which smarts.

Looks great, works nicely when on smooth roads

Minimalist and useful

Magnet is a little weak
I bought it a while ago and my iPhone 13 Pro and 14 pro with mag safe case can’t stay on the phone mount when going through some potholes. It flew off from the mount multiple times!

Complete garbage!!!
I bought this for use with my iPhone 14 pro max and the whole thing flew out of my car vent on the very first turn. This CANNOT take the weight of the full size phones because there is nothing securing it to the vent louvers. No hook, nothing. Returning it today!!!

I’m annoyed at Staples for this glitch of sorts. Or maybe it’s intentional. At any rate this phone holder is ok IF you remove the phone’s case. Otherwise the phone falls off after awhile - and I think my phone case has cracked because of this. So now I’m afraid to take the case OFF because the phone may still fall down and then the phone would crack instead. Not sure ...

Great, but have a little concern
It can hold my phone steadily and I am pretty satisfied with it.
But I have quite a concern that can it cause damages to my car vent in long-term use?
I think it's quite heavy for a car vent (My phone + Phone case + Belkin Car Vent Total weight are around 400 g)

Love It
I totally love this car mount, fits perfect with my golf VII vents, without shaking, rattling, etc.
It holds iPhone with MagSafe strong enough to avoid sticking out on a rough road, not too hard to be difficult to detach. The price is high, but you have to pay for a good product, and this one is definitely that.

Would love a windshield mount…not thrilled now
This complaint is not Belkin-specific. First, let me say that I typically love Belkin products. They typically have Apple-level quality in their product builds. Yes, you do pay for it, but that is to be expected. What I don't love is the vent mount. It blocks the vent's airflow. Depending on the vehicle it can also block controls. Great solution for cars without smart screens
