Gears and Robots.. What more could you want!
I ordered this to play with my two boys, who are 3 and 5 years old. Both boys have a range of different construction toys and are always building things together, so when I saw this set, I was automatically drawn to it.
This is the first construction toy we have used that is made nearly completely from gears, and I was so surprised at how easy it was to assemble and ho...

Very frustrating
Kids don't play with it. Pieces don't stay together. Almost impossible for kids to assembly according to instructions .

Great toy for 41/2 year old
My son loves playing with this. Since I helped him make the suggested robots, he has already used the pieces loads to make lots of weird and imaginative machines and robots. I was afraid he would be disappointed with the toy because its not an electronic robot (he had asked Santa for a robot) but it couldn't be further from the case. I am really pleased to see him indep...

Poor quality
Great colours, great build ideas. Our son was able to build the designs despite the fact that the instructions were too small and difficult to make out. On top of that, after minutes of play, some pieces didn't fit well, which means that the models break down often.

A Robot For All Imaginations
Dotty really enjoyed creating robots from her imagination.
She also loved being able to follow instructions like daddy does when building and putting all her pieces in piles for following the instructions step by step. Some pieces where hard to connect at the beginning but after a few creations they became easier to connect.
The product comes in a handy storage box.

More trouble than it's worth
Build quality is mostly adequate, but 1 of the joint types falls apart often meaning the robots don't articulate like they should. Also only 3 designs included and no more are on the website.

Creative play at it's best!
An excellent gift for any Robot/Designing enthusiast!
Our six year old son, navigated the extremely clear instructions with ease and encouraged adult interaction to ensure he was putting the pieces together (His father was itching to get involved!). He had so much fun taking all the pieces out of the box and matching them to the instructions.

This is a fab product
My 6 year old boy loves this product he spends time putting robots together and then pulling them apart, he really enjoys how the cogs work and giving the robot big yellow eyes. This product really encourages fine motor skills in young children, getting them to think about how things work together.

Brilliant and creative
Last year we were gifted a lovely gears set for my sons birthday. He spent hours creating and building different configurations. So when I saw this one I knew he would love it. Stand alone there are a few different robots to make. But can also be combined with other sets to make even more creations. This gears set didn't disappoint. My now 7 year old couldn't wait for i...
