Internet Free Printer
The Brother printer turned out better than we expected. We wanted a printer where we weren't tied to the internet and this fit the bill. it is just a peripheral device and you just plug in your laptop and Voila - you are printing.

Bought this. Worked fine for a while, randomly one day it decided the tray was no longer attached, it hadn’t been removed and was in fact still in the printer. The printer hasn’t worked since then and is slated for disposal.

It's a nice printer. Setting up the connection to WI Fi had to be done with the cable and was not real easy. But now it's fine.

Better choice than HP
This all-in-one works perfectly. Ink is way more affordable than an HP printer, which is a scam company that makes you pay insane fees for ink. I will choose Brother over HP the rest of my life.

Great machine
Love the Tank printer, much more economical especially with the feature to default to eco mode. However, the open time on the brother app can be long and the update process can be really long.

Good but hard to connect.
Good but hard to connect. Two Macs (desktop and laptop) and Windows work computer had issues connecting. Deleted and re-added device. Download of software was inconsistent in options available to download. More creating, installing, deleting finally got the devices to connect. Whatever Happened to 'Owner's Manuals?'
Excellent printer but, like most hardware these days, it arrived without instructions other than how to turn it on. Finally found a YouTube with someone who spoke English without a heavy accent that I could understand and slowly have learned how to use its various functions. I especially like the scanning feature that includes OCR.
