Best Printer I've Ever Owned
Granted I've only owned 2 other printers before this, but it is by far the best. It's incredibly easy to set up (unlike HPs thanks to their app), the print quality is excellent, and it prints incredibly quickly. Print heads clog easily
Print heads clog easily even using Brother INk exclusively. The printer has a regular self cleaning routine designed to eliminate this problem, but if you check the youtube channels, this occurs far too frequently. Cleaning is a tedious,messy job that doesn't last long. I had high hopes for this printer. Should have been a workhorse. But I can't print in color anymore...

Brother All-In-One copier
So it works a lot better than the Epson Eco that Shaq is promoting! Easy easy set up,very quick! Gave 4 stars only because I haven't used all the features yet. I do like the paper feeder tray as opposed to dropping paper in the back side of computer

Brother MFC-J4535
This is the fourth Brother printer I have purchased and installed in the past several years. The install process has improved to the point at which it is now extremely simple.
I haven't done much more than test the print, copy and scan functions of the unit, but they all tested well.

A Great Multi Function Printer!
This is a great multifunction printer. It prints, copies, scans and faxes. It has ink tanks which could last longer than inkjet cartridges and has a two year warranty. It is highly recommended!

Not worth the money
Lasted less than a yr. Spent 20+ hrs try to fix it. Online help and google - finally gave up and bought an Epson

Good printer for th price.
Works fine except not dark enough print and discharge tray not big enough to catch much paper. However it is really fast unless you pick best print the it is slow.

Lots of features in a small footprint
Well integrated in a small package. Easy to set up and very fast. The pages come out so fast it is almost fun to watch. Duplex scanning/copying works great and there is a simple initial alignment process to tweak it if required. Two trays for various size papers. easy setup
In the past, I've used another brand of the "all in one" printers, but became unhappy with the setup process on the last one purchased. I looked at the Brother, and decided to try it. I was extremely pleased with the easy setup process, and have been using it for about a month now. I am very pleased with the features and ease of use.

I love Brother but……
If there’s any dust in the area where you intend to sit the printer clean over and over. If there is any dust at all it will cause the roller to not pull the paper through. Now a constant issue of printed area being offset. Either a whole page is skipped or print starts too high and some is cut off. Very frustrating for a brand new printer. How do I read actual ink levels????
This printer is great! The ink actually has lasted me two years so far. I use it for about 50 pages per month. The one complaint that I have is with the app that goes along with the printer and figuring out ink levels. The printer keeps telling me that I’m low on ink. MFC-J4535DW performs well. Will it last?
This replaces an MFC-J35 printer which lasted less than 2 years due to clogged print head nozzles - after I replaced all 4 expensive print cartridges. This new MFC-J45 has nice all-in-one features, prints clearly and performs well. I just hope it lasts 3-5 years.
