I purchased this because Netgear said my previous modem/router was out of date and wouldn't receive any more updates. It literally works the same as my older one. Good but needs adjusting
I had my old modem/router for almost ten years so it was time to upgrade. Lighting fast modem/router and easy to install
We bought this Netgear Nighthawk AX2700modem/router combo to replace a much older Netgear modem that could not handle our faster Xfinity internet speeds. Using the Xfinity app it was a breeze to install this Netgear modem/router. So far so good. One minor glitch.
There was a small glitch the other night when I syncing the Ecobee smart thermostat. We lost internet and I had to reset the modem which was not fun to reconnect via Comcast. I had to reset it multiple times. Comcast even said they needed to send someone out to fix a problem that didn't exist. It just took a while to reconnect.

So far so good!
After a few days my nighthawk is working fine. Setup was easy and the wifi 6 provides a strong signal throughout the house including my garage. Very pleased so far

Best Router
I have used a lot of modem routers over the years and I gotta say this one, hands down, has them all beat. It’s fast, efficient, and reliable and it makes connecting new devices a breeze. It also makes control over connected devices much easier. Solid 5/5 from me for the Netgear AX2700.

Works great
I bought this to replace my Xfinity modem because of a weak WiFi signal. Setup was fairly easy. The only downside was I had to spend a half hour on the phone with Xfinity to have them disconnect their modem from my account. My WiFi is very strong and reaches the entire house now. I like that any device that connects to my WiFi is scanned for security. I will definitely ...

Excellent Modem/Router!
Set up was very easy and the WiFi signal strength is excellent through three floors (including the basement). The iOS app was also very simple to use. Overall great investment!

works great
our tv receives signal by the router. one morning the tv showed good signal level but no programming. resetting the router fixed the problem. the only problem I have had, happy with that.
