Set up not working. Called help number waited on line for over 30 minutes to hear repeatedly someone would be with me shortly. Gave up. Still not setup.

Great speed and coverage.
This was a replacement for a previous Netgear cable model and router that had aged out. This new is superior in speed and range. I highly recommend it as a replacement or upgrade.

Need to finish setting it up with the app and not just with your ISP.
It works well. I like how in the app, I can control which devices are connected. There is a feature for accessing the device when not connected to the unit, but it turns off another feature. However, setting it up is complicated. I went through all the steps for connecting it with xfinity, but it didn’t work. I had xfinity disconnect it so I could re do it. I tried agai...

5 Star all the way
I bought a competitor and sorely regretted it from day one. I tried to limp along for 3 months with all the crashes & unreliable speeds. Then I switched to Netgear Nighthawk and all my problems vanished. I have a fast speeds, a reliable network and a large range for connectivity (no booster needed). Thank you Netgear! I'm a lifetime customer now!

Setup not so easy. Too early for a review
Not everyone likes using Apps. Instruction book and a simple transition from an outdated Netgear product are far from each other. I am sure to love the actual product. It's just too early to give a true review.

Easy to set up!
Bought to replace an older NetGear that was at end of life stage. Replaced with the Cax30 series. So far very pleased with this unit. Speed is quite a bit faster than previous one and it was very easy to set up. Excellent Router
Pretty easy to set up, only took about 15 minuets, but I am not an expert. Had to go to the Xfinity website to connect, but that was not too hard. It did mess up the router I have in a house next door, but that got straightened out So far the signal from the new router is better that the old one and has been stable for many weeks.

Works well, but installation and programming are still lacking.
Works very well. Good WiFi with limited distance. LAN is fast enough, although still not as fast as Comcast claims. It's smaller and more discrete than my last Nighthawk, but I sort of miss the "spaceship" look.

WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE
Can't keep a stable WiFi signal AT ALL. While streaming a movie/TV show, it drops probably 8-10 times in a 30 minute period.
The "support" folks are a complete JOKE!

It’s a Win
Cax30 works well with Xfinity internet and saves money vs renting equipment from them. I had our last Netgear modem for 6 years before an upgrade was necessary.
