Keeps breaking
I have had to buy this gate 3 times and am now having to find a 4th. We put these at the top and bottom of our stairs. A few months ago I had to replace the bottom of the stairs set because the gate broke off at the plastic hinge. Just tonight the top stairs one broke at the same exact place. I bought to keep my family safe, but instead it has left us in a dangerous sit...

This is our second
Unfortunately the brackets are plastic though the gate is metal so our gate eventually cracked on that plastic.
However, otherwise, very durable, quite slightly, and works for our busy household of nine, so we ordered another.

Durability issues, still love it
Does it hold up well? No. I’ve gone through 5 in 2 years. Some of which were replaced by mail by the evenflo under warranty. This last one lasted 11 months.Is it worth it to not yell at the older kids about shutting the gate ALL THE TIME. Yes.

Loudest baby gate in the world!
This baby gate is a great height, and looks nice, but it is the LOUDEST baby gate I have ever heard! When you pull up before pushing, it sounds like nails on a chalkboard, but amplified. Thank goodness we bought it for a puppy, and not a baby, because it has woken me up out of a sound sleep from two rooms away, and I sleep DEEP.

Garbage!
My son was able to push right through this and he almost fell down 13 stairs , I will never buy this kind of gate again

We use this gate for a few different areas in our house and so far our 18 month old hasnt figured out how to open them. They hold well against the wall and they are very sturdy. I wish they came in a white thoughI was only able to find the black/brown color which doesnt blend well with our white walls/trim.

This gate has lasted us through 4 years now, with our kiddos and big dogs! I got ours at home depot on clearance and it was worth every penny! Super easy to take down and put back up, definitely recommend!

A Disappointment
This gate was a disappointment. I did TONS of searching for just the right gate and thought this was THE one. I was very wrong. One issue is that it presents online as being a tension gate but it requires you to screw a cap into the wall for a snug fit and doesn't tension in like expected, it screws not pulls/pops into place. This is a great gate that can be used for kids or pets. It is taller than most kids gates and it is metal which looks nicer than the wood. Also it has a center entry door which is convenient. I would recommend to anyone.

Super easy to install and really convenient that it has a door. I became irritated at the other baby gates that I had to take down or climb over all the time especially when busy or carrying heavy objects. This gate was a life saver.

What a waste of money
I went to install and only had 3 extension pins, no big deal so I looked on the website for the item number and was going to order the missing one. My model is not even on there so I am stuck with what I thought would be a cool gate and could not even install it

I highly recommend having baby gates! If u have stairs or for the kitchen they come in handy for babies & animals!

Screws won't hold!
Two of the four adjustment bumpers have screws that will not thread - they just move freely in and out of the holes. We've had to use the cap to hold it in place which is not as pictured in manual and doesn't look nice.

Works great
Love the baby gate. It's easy to install. She can't climb out of this gate and she cant figure out how to get out which is great for me while I'm cooking or cleaning.

This gate is SO nice. I ordered this and am so glad I splurged for a little more expensive one because in turn it’s more sturdy. My daughter is very hyper and very energetic, she has climbed over every gate with ease, and has broke quite a few. This one is super high and she can not climb it!
