Hoping for longer life of ink cartridge
My first order on this particular black ink was installed just 3 months ago and then it quit working as the printer rejected it for some unknown reason. It certainly still had ink in it. We'll see what happens this time around.

I wanted the larger 61 X or XL but everyone was out. Will use this one until it runs out.

The cartridges are fine. I always go into the Newtown store to purchase them. However because I have been confined to the house and these were ordered online I was not able to use my rewards - two for $4.00 each and one for $2.00. What can be done about this under the circumstances?

Works great but kinda expensive
Easy to replace and calibrate but WOW HP must have a high profit margin on these.

What I Needed
I always buy the HP ink cartridges for my printer. I prefer the name brand to generics. It would have been nice if Staples had the package with the black and the color ink but with the pandemic supplies were low. I was glad I got what I needed. The price seemed average for the product.

I chose this item because that XL was unavailable - I was grateful that at least this was available although it will not last as long. Yes I would recommend this item if it was the only choice.
