The price of this ink has gone up by more than 20 percent in the past year. Also, Staples had a promotion of 50% back in points for an HP Ink purchase. After my $125.99 purchase, my points dollar value increased by only $2.00, from $83 to $85. Is this all 50% points bonus is worth?

I have had this cartridge now for just a couple of months. I expected it to last a long time since, for me, 750 pages is possibly a year’s worth of copying.
