This really elevated my cardmaking
Before I purchased the foil transfer kit, I read all of the reviews. I was SO excited about the effects I wanted to be able to add with this, but the reviews really gave me pause. After going over the tutorials on it, I went ahead and ordered it and followed what I saw in the tutorials. I messed up at first because it was my first time, I had only had my Cricut for 3 we...

Complete trash!
Extremely disappointed. Bought the silver foil for my wedding invitations, and no matter what Ive done I cannot get a single line to transfer fully. Wasted 4 hours of my life on literal garbage.

Just one tip option?
I'm a little disappointed. You don't get three tips (bold, medium & fine) like you'd get with other Cricut machines. I was looking forward to bold lines and this only made very fine foil lines.

Easy, Peasy Foiling!
I got this kit during the big sale as I figured I had nothing to lose and I’m so happy I did! I love how easy it is to swap the tips into the housing and create beautiful pieces. I do wish there was an easier way to attach foil sheets to your work but that’s a minimal complaint for me compared to the outcome I get!

Great tool!
After seeing the intricate foil transfer design projects displayed on the Cricut site, I ordered a Foil Transfer Kit for my Cricut Joy Xtra. It shipped immediately. Instruction sheet provides both written and pictorial guidance. I made several Mother’s Day cards and was extremely pleased with the results.

Foil Transfer Kit
Cumbersome to setup and use. Transfer of foil was light in some areas. Can get the same effect with gel or glitter pens.

Not great
I tried several times to do. some basic foiling with the silver and the gold and a minimal amount of foil ended up on the yardstick. Maybe it's the kit or maybe there is a large learning curve. I will try again but I feel that it should be a little easier to pick up this technique.

I love this kit! I had no idea how easy this was until I did my first one. It came out beautiful. Great directions too!

Easy to use, but could be better
I never intended to buy the foiling kit, but then everything here went on super sale, and I figured the price was law enough to at least give it a shot -- and I'm glad I did. It's super easy to use the foiling tool, and it really dresses up the already pretty cut-out cards I'm making. My only issue is that Cricut provides no way to keep the foil transfer sheet in plac...

Pretty but complicated!
This does a beautiful job when the foil actually cooperates. It would be helpful if the foil had a sticky backing to it.

Not worth it
This didn’t work how I’d hoped! It was easy assemble, but the application of the foil onto my paper was smudgy/patchy.

Foil transfer
The foil doesn’t fully go onto the paper as well as I was expecting it to when I bought the kit. It still looks nice on paper but it’s not always fully transferred properly.

Didn't work for me
This kit did not work for me. I did everything correctly (taping the foil to my cardstock and installing the tip) but the tip didn’t seem to have enough pressure to transfer the foil to my cardstock. I don’t have any other trouble cutting with my Cricut Maker 3 or the pressure, so this kit was not worth the money.
