Definitely not good with metallic pens.
Yep, I see it now right in the description... "*Not compatible with Cricut Joy Gel Pens or Metallic Markers". Unfortunately, I wasted half this roll several months after my initial purchase because who would remember that month's later? And it's not even on the packaging, so it's not like I'd be able to see it and jog my memory or anything.

Awful
Impossible to use. The backing isn’t sticky enough to hold your design in place while you weed it.

Waste of money
Impossible to weed. Everything I cut on this came off of the backing even with a fresh blade.

Useless, frustrating.
Brittle and prone to breaking and tearing
Very disappointing. I wanted to use this writable vinyl for wall tags in an art display so the kids could feel like professional artists. These were a total waste of time and effort. Even on super high cutting pressure with a new blade, I couldn't get these to cut and peel a simple rounded-edge rectangle.

Not What I Expected
This product did not do what I expected it to do. I was very disappointed with it. However, it was the first product I’ve received from Cricut that I was disappointed in.

Not good
These labels dont stick, i bought them to make spice jar labels and they keep peeling up off the lids. I know have to place an object on each jar for s time to try and get better adhesion.

So disappointed
So disappointed in this product. I bought it specifically to make labels for my kids Christmas gifts because they’re getting to an age where they would recognize my handwriting. The labels looked great but wouldn’t remove from the backing! It would shred and peel as I tried to remove every single one. I thought I was doing something wrong but I tried many different ways...

Can use with any markers and free drawing!
Works with free drawing & markers. Have not used it with the machine but did draw with my little one making our own stickers. We colored with permanent markers as well as crayons and heb markers and cut ourselves. Recommend this material. It was alot of fun.

Transparent is clearly not clear and wrinkled
I bought this and it lifted when inserting it into the machine. I also ordered the transparent vinyl that looks blue and translucent, not transparent.

Ink smudges
The ink smudged multiple tries using it. Multiple different types of ink. The problem is that because it's smart material it lifts up as it moves through the machine and gets the still-wet ink on the rollers, which then spread the ink around. Then the labels didn't even stick to the furniture.

More colors please! Larger length too.
Would REALLY like more colors available. Not all pastels though as I understand we need to see the writing, but primary, secondary and tertiary colors would work too. Organizing with color coded labels is dope. It’ll also add so many more options to artists.
I know I would buy every color offered.

Writes well with Joy pens but a bit hard to remove cut labels
I used this at Christmas to make some labels for cookies I had made as gifts. It was easy to design the labels and write/cut them with the Joy. I used the blue 0.3mm pen for the writing. The pen wrote on the material without any issues, and soon after they were done, I could rub my finger across them and the writing did not smear at all.
However, weeding and removing t...

The ink runs on these labels
I made a label for a bottle of hand soap in the bathroom. When the ink gets wet it runs, there is nothing permanent about this setup.

Great Product, Needs Better Guides
I love this product, but when I use it I am going for the whole 48\", one project at a time. I do wish there were numbered guides on the back of the product. It would go a long way with using it, especially when it has to be unloaded per project. I can count all I want, but it doesn't seem to add up all the time, which ends in waisted time.
