Upon opening I saw that the wood was an extremely soft pine with no finish on it at all. It was nearly white—nothing like the honey colored photo in the photo. The assembly also seemed overwhelming—the drawers had no sliders on them, and you had to build all 4 sides , etc. Nope. Not for me.
