Nice child and parent project
I thought this was a good birthday gift for an 8 year old grandson. He liked the thrill of building a toy with solar panel. The biggest drawback was small parts to keep track of - lose one piece and the project is hindered.

Was purchased for a gift but the mother of the child the gift is going to seem very excited and enjoyed the fact that it was something educational that hit her son could put together I think it will be a great gift.
