A Recliner Reborn into an Office Chair
The review title says it all, if you’ve ever sat in a lazboy recliner this is what their office chair becomes. Worth the extra $ over my other choice and glad I made the investment. People spend the money on a good mattress but often don’t think about the chair they spend the same amount of time in. This is by far the best office chair I’ve sat in for the past 20 years.

Poor production of chair
The appearance of the chair and comfort are great. I've had this chair for over a week and cannot use it. In assembly, the part of the up-down lever was manufactured too short on one arm for the connection to fit in the slot and operate. One stupid short cable and it's useless. Chair will NOT come up! great potential
It would have been a great chair, unfortunately it leaned 4 degrees to one side. I expected more from a la-z-boy product, and will not be rolling the dice on a replacement.

Easy to assemble and very comfortable. I work from from home and I was looking to replace my gaming chair. I am glad I went with the Alton. I also like the seat adjustments are on the side of the arm rest which it makes it a lot easier than having to been over.

Awesome chair!
This is by far the most comfortable office chair. I’ve had over the past 20 years of working in my home office. It was easy to assemble if you follow the direction and was ready to go in under 20 minutes.

Leather peeling
I have had the chair for a couple of years and it has been ok but the leather is now peeling in the seat area and looks pretty rough. It has been ok for comfort but really lacks any lumbar support. Now looking for new chair.

Positive: The handles on the arm rests; I like that
Negatives:
1. Assembly is more than I expected, and the wire holders seem to be screwed to the wrong place to hold the cables without awkward bends
2. Chair is NOT comfortable. I expected FAR better from la-z-boy (I have had the same chair for a decade from them and it is far more comfortable)
3. Chair tilts, IT DOES ...

Chair Comfort
I have had the chair almost 2 weeks now. It seemed that the chair model in the store was more comfortable than the one I took to my home office. I paid a higher amount since it is La-Z-Boy but not sure yet if it was worth it. The one thing I do like about it is that the tilt & height feature is in the arms and not having to reach under the chair (spine issues).

Lazy boy review
After putting the chair together it screaked with every move. Took the chair back and staples store manager was very helpful in taking the defect and ordering a replacement.
