Great All-in-One Printer.
I recently purchased this all-in-one printer to replace a previous Brother model, after more than ten years of owning it. It’s simple and straightforward to set up. This printer is compact, simple and easy to use, and reliable. Have always had good experiences using Brother products. Highly recommended.

Will stop printing at any time
As soon as this printer detects that one of four ink cartridges (yes, just one of the four) is low, it will stop printing and refuse to print anything more until the cartridge is replaced. Mind you, this will happen in the middle of a print job with no warning whatsoever. The preceeding pages that did print will look perfectly fine so you know there is ink still in the ...

The screen is too small to see what it wants you to do and it doesn't come with a book explaining how to use all it's functions.

OUT OF INK???
I used to love this printer - and then the error message that ink was low appeared and the printer is useless. Out of ink when I just replaced it all. Called the 800 number (mistake) and was told I have to pay for new drivers to be installed. LOL - seriously? Returned already...Windows 11 not supported
I thought I was the very last person on the planet to get a smart phone or update finally to Windows 11. So imagine my surprise when this arrived and it said right on the box that it did not work with W11. It might work for you, but did not for me. When my daughter quickly hooked my new printer to my old Mac computer, I realized how easy it would be to work with this printer.

Great printer
This printer was so easy to install, plug in, all the prompts, the first page all easy.
I had trouble with going online to brother. Com setup, got a FAKE company, tried to get $$ for computer repairs. I hung up on them, plugged in an
ISB Cord, printer to my chromebook .
Now all done! Yay! I think step 4 should be, plug in cord connector computer to printer.

Loud and not like the old Brother printers
This is not built well, very flimsy and really loud when it prints. It does print well, which is why it gets 3 stars instead of 2.
I had a J470DW for over 10 years with no issues. I can't even get the Wi-Fi working yet on this one. Loading paper is also not easy. Bummer.

Brothers are there for the long haul!
My old Brother printer lasted 16 years, so why would I ever think of changing brands? The new model looks and functions much like the previous one with more sophisticated tech prompts.
We took the Staples protection plan just in case there are any glitches over time, which we don’t expect; but the plan to replace a broken printer was too good to refuse.
