Works for me
I just got this webcam, and it's working for me so far. Both the picture quality and the sound quality are great. I've been using this for video conferences as well as making YouTube videos. I'm loving it

Great little camera!
I really like this camera- clear and sharp, inexpensive, best thing is it works perfectly with my chromebook for streaming. Highly recommend.

Great price great picture
Shockingly for the price this camera is great. Perfect for the office and at home for meetings. If you don’t want to spend a ton of a camera I would buy this, works perfect for everyday use.

Not compatible w/ higher PC specs. HP no driver..
The camera is decent, but HP don't have a driver or software for higher specs PC's. You can use in teams and zoom but no way you can adjust the camera settings during broadcast. it limits you any adjustments. Note: The tripod shown on the Staples website is not included.

Okay product
Works fine, but if you have a light in your room behind desk, even an overhead lamp, face can come out very dark. But if you dim the lights to very low, it looks like the room is well lit.

I use this cam for work. It gives me the basics of what I need.
I bought this cam for work. Connecting it was super easy and my HP computer recognized it. It does what I need it to do which is provide a good visual of my face during meetings. It's also 1080 which was important. I'm sure there are more premium options but this works for my job.

Excellent webcam
Excellent webcam. It is something that you expect with HP. Just plug it in and it works. The video is clear, and the microphone is great. An added bonus is the cover so that you can close the camera when not in use thereby ensuring your privacy.

Good pic, iffy base.
The camera has a good quality picture and was easy to install. The hinge on the base is too loose to maintain the correct angle. I wrapped a rubber band around it to increase the tension. Doesn't look great but works fine.

Mount Design
Mount is designed poorly. Had to use a rubber band to keep the mount in a usable position. Tried on two different styles of HP monitors and experienced the same issue on both. Camera quality is good.

A great webcam that works well and does what I want it to do.
This is a great camera for the inexpensive sale price I paid. It works great, and I can position it up and down and sideways easily. I would highly reccommend this HP camera.

Average Camera
Average Camera. Microphone and camera work well enough. But, the “clip” used to keep the camera in place isn’t the best. It stays but if you need to adjust the angle of the camera the clip alone isn’t strong enough to keep it from falling off.
