It may help to change the batteries in your machine. When you do, open the battery compartment and insert four non-rechargeable AA alkaline batteries. Then, close the battery compartment by pressing it until you hear a click. If you don't completely close the battery compartment door, the machine will not work. Please know, each Swiffer WetJet, and the refills designed to work with it, will not leave a residue and should provide a great clean on virtually any floor in your home. It's possible the refills you're using aren't suitable for your floor. Do not use the Swiffer WetJet on unfinished, oiled or waxed wooden floors, non-sealed tiles, or carpet. If it is suitable, for best results, sweep or vacuum your floor before using the Swiffer WetJet. Another possible issue is the age of your floor. If it's brand new, it may have a special coating to protect it during shipping, and this can cause streaking. Streaking and cloudiness can also happen if other cleaning products have been used on the floor recently. In either case, using the product a few more times should solve the problem. We’re glad you loved your WetJet, but are sorry to hear it has stopped spraying. A good first step, even if you’re seeing the lights come on, it to put in fresh AA alkaline batteries to make sure it is getting full power, and then priming any new bottles by holding down the spray button for a few moments.
