Best Ever Myself (and Parents) Have Ever Used!!!
It is, by all metrics, the Best Stand Alone streaming device I have ever used. I have had almost every Chromecast and FireTV ever made, Roku Ultra wins because not only has the one I purchased lasted for two years, but these two purchased for both my Mom and Dad "and" Mother-in-Law are the easiest devices they have ever used, they say themselves also the best.

Fantastic upgraded features
Purchased this Roku Ultra to replace a Roku Premier that was several years old and showed signs it was tired. First thing I noticed was the greatly improved sound I'm now getting from my sound bar & speakers. The volume control never worked on the Premier so it's nice to need only 1 remote now :) An added bonus is that the remote is rechargeable so no more batteries! Ve...

Fast, super responsive media controller
I researched several media players and landed on the Roku Ultra as my pick due to how beefy the hardware is. I had gotten tired of waiting for menus to load and slow pagination. So far, been super happy with the Ultra. If you're tired of slow media player "sticks", definitely get the Ultra.

At at just one week it's great, setup was super easy. I over bought but works on my 10 year old VIZIO's 1080 display. Love the fish tank screen saver š.

Good on newer tvs failer on older one
Shows squiggly lines instead of roku icon on my 2001 42" plasma TV that I wanted to update with the remote mute, volume, tv on/off, and voice features. Disappointed!
It does work great with a 32" Dynex TV I don't use. This Roku will sit idle alongside that TV in a closet.

Roku Ultra is a Winner.
The Roku Ultra is just as the name implies. It was the perfect tool to help me cut the cord with cable and manage my streaming subscriptions. Setup could not have been easier and the rechargeable voice controlled remote works perfectly. I am getting one for every TV. Also, Dell shipped fast.

Great device - needs some upgrades.
Overall the unit is working as expected. Much faster than my older than 5 years curved Samsung TV.
Cons- regularly signs me out of subscriptions and providers without interaction.
Also I honestly can't believe the ethernet port is still 100mb. Gigabit Roku, gigabit.

Excellent Streaming Player
The Roku Ultra is an excellent streaming device. The Roku platform offers a wide variety of apps covering multiple subjects, including music, movies, and television. Apps load quickly and the interface is easy to navigate.
