Love the computer
Quick and easy online purchase, delivered quickly. BUT I never got my REWARDS POINTS. Called twice now, seems it easy to buy but hard to get the reward points. Lets see if anyone here even responds to whare did my points go?

Long process to get what I wanted
Laptop came twice not in compliance of the specs. No backlit keyboard. On my third attempt I had to switch to a different model which finally had the backlit. All together it took me one month to get a new laptop, and dozens of hours in the support line all waisted because of a wrong description.

No Fingerprint Reader
Doesn't come with the fingerprint reader, although it says it does. Staples isn't clear about what it can and cannot do. I might return it.

Microsoft has too much influence
MS mandates that you have an account with them/ a one drive account/ an email account/ their security apps and too much more. There is little to no flexibility especially with their browser Edge. You can't get rid of it.. no how, no way. Bing is another one. Word,excel, etc. are always in the way. I bought an HP, with MS operating system but it's a MS jail.

The Set-up Process is too intrusive
The Computer appears to work fine. Windows 11 requires a little getting used to, especially the setup process. I was unable to use the HP/Windows 11 computer without giving more personal data under the guise of added security. I did not like using my personal information as a means of accessing the programs.
