Took me a long time to put together
I am usually pretty smart, but this was really hard for me to put together. And it doesn't feel as sturdy as I thought it would.

Easy to setup. I’ve already put this puppy through the ringer in the little time I’ve had it. Lol Over 2000 pull-ups in a month with a 20lb vest. Definitely would recommend to anyone trying to get a good workout at home. This is my 4th home pullup bar I’ve owned. Gave away my others over the years as I’ve been in and out of gyms and again out cause of covid19. ...

BEST BAR I HAVE TESTED.
This is the best doorway pull up bar that I have used. It is offset from the doorway which allow you more room to do the exercises, it is elevated so you can stand up vs kneeling and it is a superior design. Kudos to GoFit.

I've owned this pullup bar for seven years and lived in four different apartments (so I've assembled it five separate times!) and it's great. Assembly is a bit fussy, but I haven't had any real problems. I've never had trouble with it wobbling, shifting, or leaving marks. I'm definitely a lightweight (

My previous doorway chin-up bar was ok but I had to lift my feet. This extra-high reach is definitely better. I stretch my back easily (I'm 5'9") and can do pull ups with my feet hardly touching the floor. It actually seems easier to push my set of pullups when I'm not also distracted by keeping my feet lifted.Constructions seems fine. I only weigh 150 lbs so can't ...

This came in faster than I expected in times of COVID, and was also one of the few avaialble that didnt suck. This has multiple grips, and functions for use, unlike most. Product arrived in good condition, each piece of metal tube was individually wrapped in plastic.No missing pieces, correct number of screws and nuts, with 2 extra washers.However, putting it together using their included mini-wrenches was a less than pleasant experience. Overall, I'm happy but as others have mentioned, the main cross tubes don't fit snug so there is movement when you apply pressure. The two main cross tubes are each made up of two tubes - one goes inside the other and the join is in the middle, secured with a bolt and nut. Got this during the COVID stay at home orders. I was so hesitant to order one of these because I am very mechanically unable. However, I followed the directions and used a level and put it together in about 45 minutes. It's definitely sturdy and I like the varying grips. I received the station today. Had no problem putting it together. All you need is a 10mm open end wrench and a 10mm socket & ratchet wrench. Piece of cake. After I put it together and mounted it on the door found out I could not do even 1 chin up. Bummer. Curious to see how long it will take me to at least do 1 chin up. Great pull up bar. I am 6'2 185, my roommate is 5'7 185. we both love it. The grip on the widest part is great for wide pullups. Some reviews said it is wabbly or hard to put together, I didnt find that to be the case. Put it together in 10 minutes and it was ready for use. This would probably wobble if you do kipping pullups, but hey, go outside and build yourself some...

Based on other reviewer comments, I verified before starting that I had all of the screws, nuts, washers. Everything was there :) Followed the directions, which states NOT to tighten any screws until it was fully assembled. In fact, I mounted the chin up bar in the door before tightening some of the screws, just to make sure it was level with the door I was using.

I purchased this because of the elevated handles. The straight metal bar that braces against the door frame is 36" wide. The square plastic bar braces against the top of the door frame and has 3 height adjustments to clear the width of the door trim.
