Use a good display card and browser
On both my old Macbooks (both running Windows at 2K res and 4K res) it looks fantastic while on a newer Lenovo with a built-in Intel Graphics card the colors are not great though it does have 4K res. Macs and I think HP seem to have the best display cards. Firefox renders better than Edge.

Fabulous display
Colors look amazingly true, shades and gradations are beautiful making pictures look like photographic prints. Better than Apple's 5 K display IMHO. Best display in USA in this price range. Would have liked more brightness, 350 cd/m2 is low.

Great value for the price
I was originally looking at the Benq SW270C (1440p) even though I wanted 4k resolution since I also do video. The 4k version of that monitor (SW271C) was about twice the price. Then I found out those monitors are not true 10bit color. I kept researching and ended up coming across the Viewsonic VP2786-4K. It was true 10bit color, came with a cool control dial that double...
