lightweight
It holds a dozen soup cans with a little room to spare. But I wouldn't store anything that heavy in it. The bottom has a little foot on each corner.

Lid doesn't latch.
The lid almost but doesn't quite latch. It has fittings at each end that seem to clip to the box, and one of them does (weakly). The other does not.
