Works great I'm glad that I bought it. Remember to install the chime kit even if you buy a new electronic doorbell.

Will malfunction quickly after install
Total garbage. Battery Bulge issue which is well documented online. Don’t believe the reviews on this site. Just go look at Amazon and see what they write there.

Not worth it, 2 in a row were bad.
Ordered 2 of these, one after the other, finally gave up.
Transformer puts out 18. 4 volts to the door.
Mechanical chimes, both doorbell cameras had the same issue. They would turn blue, try to ri g the doorbell and thats it. Tried using usb cord with 2A supply to the doorbells, didnt make it work. About an hour on the phone with a tech who didnt really help. Frustrat...

Now its good
A bit temperamental to install, and it drove me nuts trying to figure out why no events were available for playback until I figured out there was no SD card. Now it's working fine and SD card on order!

Better Warranty
I had to buy this product twice because the first door bell camera failed me within two years they will give you a 10% discount but you must do paperwork which takes five days which is kind of a hassle when your in need of a replacement. It appears these video door bells don't last long.

Motion alerts no good
The app never alerts me when there's some moving in fronte of it. and when it alerts 5 minutes pass.

Bad camera horrible support
I have had 2 fail. One was out of warranty and the other was still in warranty. Support is horrible. I was on the phone for 3 hours troubleshooting and trying to get a replacement. Do not buy.

Great video doorbells
Purchased two doorbells, 4k and 2k. Easy to install and setup. Plenty of settings to get notifications that you want. Excellent clarity. Love having microsd cards so you don't have to pay monthly/annual fee. I would buy again if needed.

Better than other doorbell cameras
I had a doorbell camera from the other company but I couldn’t look at video footage because I needed a subscription and I wasn’t going to be paying 10 dollars a month for that. The video quality on Lorex cameras are much better. The alerts are more accurate. Night vision is clearer. Overall 10/10.

The video bell works well
The video bell works well by itself. I also purchases a 2k video system with the thought the doorbell and video system would work together. Not so they have two separate apps to view each system independently.

Wifi reconnect is too cumbersome
Do not like having to reset the camera to put it in Hotspot mode every time our internet wifi goes down for routine maintenance - the doorbell should reconnect to wifi automatically!

Horrible, didn’t last a year.
I have had the worst experience ever. My doorbell has not worked for 6 months. Dwight is rude. He did nothing, but waste my time. I have to hope someone will knock when they’re at my door now. What a waste and I have loads of LOREX cameras. This one is wired, but their wireless products are even worse. None of them are reliable like they used to be.

Awesome product.
I wasn’t sure if I needed the added mini SD card for this, so it turns out it works with my Lorex camera system and it records the videos and I’m able to go back and review them. So awesome along with great video clarity, as well as a light on the bottom of it, that lights upon motion. I am able to record audio as well. Loving it.
