This Refill Does Not Fit Cross Pens
The refill claims to fit Cross Pens on the packaging. IT DOES NOT FIT CROSS PENS. It has a different thread on the refill. A waste of time and money not recommended for Cross Pen owners.

Not as advertised
I bought this for a Cross pen but it does not fit properly. With the blue end on the cap doesn't close all the way but with the blue end removed the pen sticks way out of the bottom and is very loose so it moves around inside.

Merangue fits Cross Ballpoint pen however when you write with it it writes fine but at the end leaves small amount of ink on the tip of it and if you do not clean it it can create a mess around it. The Cross pen refill replacement does not do that. I have had my Cross pen for more than 40 years and I have never had a problem. Merangue pen needs to improve on that. ...

Doesn't fit older Cross pens well
Obtaining Cross refills locally has become more difficult so when I was repairing a couple of older Cross Century ballpoints I saw that Staples had a non-Cross-branded refill that was advertised as fitting Cross ballpoints. Cross refills
I bought some Cross type refills for my pens sort of an impulse purchase. The ball point refills fit properly but I found a coating of some sort on the tips that had to be removed for the refill to write. The gel refills don't fit at all and I'll be returning them directly.

Merangue refills
While these refills are satisfactory they are not the same quality as the actual Cross refills but in the last 3 years or so it is next to impossible to find the Cross refills that I use .
