I originally purchased the vacuum 2 years ago. We absolutely love this vacuum. Incredible vacuuming power, we have a Bernese Mountain Dog . We just purchased another one for our other residence. Although I would like owning the new Shark Powerdetect Vacuum someday.

The Stratos canaster release is awful, I mean who ever approved the catch should be fired! No easy way to open it.

Works great at first
I bought this vacuum 9 months ago. We have a golden retriever, a Labrador retriever and my wife has long hair. It worked great for about 4 months when the performance began to decline quite a bit. It is defective. The rollers don't spin. The lights don't work. I have not been offered a solution despite my request.

They stand by their products!
This is everything that it promises. What a nice company to deal with. My vacuum broke and was still under warranty, the man on the phone did some troubleshooting with me and asked a few simple questions. Long and short. They sent me a brand new one. Thank you Shark 🦈

Gotta love Shark!!
I've had 4 different models of shark vacuums and I have loved them all. Each new model just get better and better. I do wish it had the light on the end of the wand like my previous one had. Really miss that feature.

Great Suction and cleaning area!
We have had this for 2+ years and this still works great! We used to have a Dyson and it broke WITHIN A MONTH. We decided to go with the Shark Stratos and omg, we tried using it with dirt the Dyson left and it picked it up without hassle. We love this so hopefully it stays working for a long time!

Great for pets!
We have had this vacuum for 1.5 years, and still love it as much as the day I got it. It's sturdy, super powerful, and leaves our house feeling clean. Its a great vacuum for families with pets! Power fins are cheap and dog hair gets stuck
The power fins aren’t lasting. They are ripping and tearing away so the brushing action isn’t sweeping up the dog hair to be sucked up. Dog hair also gets stuck in the front brush roller so mid way through my main floor I have to stop and unclog the front. Poor design vacuum
Was a great vacuum but the front fiber roller keeps stripping out. I have been thru 4 replacements in the past month. Terrible design as hair gets trapped under the roller, at first I thought was the reason for the problem but as I have gone thru rollers I’ve seen this isn’t the problem

Shark is the best of the best!
We got one around a year or two ago, it had a defect and they sent us a brand new one. The attachments make it easy to clean under appliances, hard to reach places without bending over or having to use a chair or anything

Where’s the light in the wand?
I am devastated that there is no light on the wand. That’s what made me actually look forward to vacuuming with my old shark. The light on the head doesn’t shine as far as my old one did. Honestly, why take away the standout feature? Otherwise a good vacuum

Great features. Love the POWER Liftaway
This is an awesome vacuum! It works great. Unlike the lift away only vacuums, it lifts away and you can go under furniture to clean under couches, beds, etc.

Want to love it!
This is my second Stratos model in six months, the first one simply stopped working. And I only vacuumed once a week maybe. I want to believe in Shark and their product so I re-purchased. One pro I can definitely say is the suction is very strong.

Never Again
I bought this vacuum in May of 2024 and it no longer powers on. In the brief time that it did work cleaning performance was sub-par and it was constantly clogging up with dog hair. I you purchase this vacuum, or any other Shark brand vacuum you will regret that you wasted your money on their garbage products.

Great suction and features
Only have had the vacuum for a month and have used it a handful of times, then suction seems great and I really like the filter that’s included and keeps the vacuum smelling fresh.
