Support on an investment is always good!
I recently invested in a quality HP LaserJet Pro printer and since I have little knowledge on the technical aspect of the unit- it was important for me to know that technical support was no more than a phone call away. I purchased to two year plan as my safety net. It's little cost for a lot of peace of mind.
