New Garmin DriveCam 76
So far, I’ve only used my DriveCam76 in town and it works great. I’ll be traveling throughout the state starting next week and will use it more extensively then.

Great features, Map issues
I bought this about 3 weeks ago, updated software, loaded new Map. Aftrer all typed in address did not find the place, had to use my phone to get to a Doctor's appointment, off course getting lost I was late. Called Garmin Tech Service, had him use the same address, he determined it was way off, he said will report it to Map derpartment, here is the address 3390Tamiami ...

New Garmin DriveCam 76

Nice GPS!
I bought this 3 weeks ago. I like it complete array of features. I'm still learning about it. I've found anything that I think needs improvement.

It works well.
It's nice but it's to big and you can not set it on the dashboard which makes it illegal in almost all states, most states laws are nothing is to be attracted to the windshield.
I liked the smaller Garmin driveassist 51.

Live time turn by voice
I have one of these I bought a couple of years ago. That showed icons for Restrants, gas stations and ect. On this one you have to scroll down a menu to find them, not something you should do while driving!!!!!!

Works Great... But...
This is my fourth Gamin, It was really easy to set up and transfer my info..
But, No matter how i clean the glass it keeps falling off..
Sometimes it will stay up for an hour or two so but that's about it.
I wish i could buy a better mount without the suction cup.

Almost perfect for me.
Perfect with one exception. In my opinion it should, still, show the geographic direction in which the car is headed (N, S, E, W and in between) when is displaying the steps to a defined destination. It does that when using just the map feature. I don't suppose it would be difficult to display a compass showing which direction I'm headed. Big win, small expense. Cheers...

Old Nuvi warn out so needed new one but couldn’t find one so looked for alternative and this popped up

Garmin DriveCamâ„¢ 76
GPS works great and takes great video. It just was not compatible with my older Garmin GPS CAM, to transfer the addresses. Its very easy to set the addresses in though.

Great Upgradeq
I've had different versions of Garmin products for years and have always been happy with them. I was absolutely happy with my current version, but wife wanted me to get something that also had a camera rather than buying a separate one. She was so right in the decision to buy me one. The camera resolution is incredible, but I am also impressed by all of the cool feat...

Easy to use
Very user friendly with lots of good information displayed - in addition to the route directions. Simple to update to always have current maps.

There are no provisions to dash mount this unit! I returned it as I do not like mounting on the windshield. Can’t believe Garmin did not make provisions for dash mounting!

Excellent product with new features!
I purchased the Garmin DriveCam 76 about 2 weeks ago. The combo pack is great since it comes combined with Garmin's GPS along with a Mini Cam. Two units built into one!

Seems to get a little quirky in this warm weather, I miss the drop down warning for school zones also no tracking of past routes.

We appreciate the review! The operating temperature for the DriveCam 76 is from -20° to 55°C (from -4° to 131°F). If you're experiencing odd behavior outside these temperatures, then it may be beneficial to move the position of the device to an area that receives less direct sunlight. An alternate mounting solution may be helpful in this regard.
With regard to the school zone alerts, the DashCam 76 has a Driver Alert feature that will play a tone and display the speed limit (if available) for an upcoming school or school zone. You can find and either enable or disable these Driver Alerts by selecting Settings (the gear icon) > Driver Assistance > Driver Alerts, and then select or clear the checkbox next to each alert.
Lastly, you may need to enable the Travel History feature on your device. You can do so by selecting Settings > Device > Travel History. Doing so will allow your device to store a record of the places you go, view your trip log, use the Trip History feature, and use myTrends suggested routes.

Still learning the differences of the DriveCam 76
It's been a while since I bought a new Garmin GPS. So still getting used to this new one. Love the size and the DriveCam feature, ask me again in 6 months for an update.

Big disappointment
Old garmin products were much better. The maps are not updated even when it shows everything is up to date. Forget about data transfer from old garmin to new. The feature on your website for data transfer does not work. In short a big disappointment from a company like Garmin

Best GARMIN yet
Really enjoying the Combined features of the Camera and Navigation. Once one learns the "language", accessing the features is a breeze.
My only "CON" observation is that the camera lens "sticks out" a bit, so when storing it in the GARMIN universal soft case, it seems "bulky".

Garmin Drive Cam 76
I bought this about a month ago & I have to say it was a great Purchase. Bought it specifically for the GPS/Dash Cam Combo & it meets every expectation; especially the 7" screen as my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. The only problem is that this is the only GPS/Dash Cam combo that Garmin makes anymore for autos.
