Storage hack - try a medium size canvas tote bag
This is a good machine so far; it replaces a Fellowes shredder I purchased 8 years ago. Pretty sure it's a Fellowes Shredder with a Staples Private Label skin. So far its been great for personal/home use, fast enough, and powerful. I just know not to overwhelm it like I did my previous one. do not try credit card
Trying to cut a credit card jammed the machine. I was able to reverse and unjam. I tried a second time with the same result.

To many do's and don't's.
To many do's and don'ts. Example: instructions tells it will overheat after 3 minutes, and a cool down period of 10 minutes. I will do more research.

Maybe we just got a bad unit but we just got this shredder last month. It doesn't get heavily used; a sheet here and there through out the day tops. Yesterday it stopped taking paper on one side and so I had to fold my papers in half to insert them on the opposite side, after a minute it shut off because it was overheated. Paper Shredder

To Whom It May Concern: the shredder does what the product is supposed to do-shred. It handles diverse size and shapes, thicknesses and quality. Many products no longer do what they are supposed to do but the shredder does it and at a good pace. Thank you.

Surprisingly small bin
We purchased this 8 sheet shredder to replace a 10 sheet model we bought some years ago (from Staples) that failed. We do small amounts of shredding on rare occasions and do not really need a more expensive or fancier model.

Love this little machine
Remember to keep a supply of lubricant sheets on hand to keep your machine running smooth. And use the plastic bag that the shredder comes wrapped in to make emptying the shredded paper out earlier.
