Powerful and Smart

Short lived
Purchased 08/2023. Worked great until recently. Now it will run for 5 minutes or so and then stop working. According to the lights (solid red, solid white, solid red) it has an internal issue. Better than previous robot vac.
We purchased the Shark Matrix (RV2310AE) roughly 14 days ago, and really liking it so far. This is replacing a Shark RV1001AE, that we purchased in 2019. The Matrix seems to clean better than the RV1001E did new. The Matrix has not gotten stuck like the previous vacuum did.
The only gripe we have at the moment, the side brush is already showing wear.

Disappointing functionality and customer support
I bought this product a little less than two years ago. About ten months into ownership the body stopped working and continued to run a brush-roll error code. I contacted shark and we did several troubleshooting procedures but none worked. They offered to replace the body since it was still in a 1 year warranty, I unfortunately still had to pay a hefty shipping fee. Now...

Best vacuum
I love my robot shark vacuum!! It saves so much time since I do not have vacuum. I love the fact that it vacuums under my bed! I love that I can set a schedule and not have to worry.

I couldn’t get it to learn my house plan. I redid the floor plan 5 times and moved the room diagram. I gave up. I wish it had 2 brushes not just 1.

Bad Communication and Bad Service
I have no idea if the product is any good, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I bought the robot from Walmart, brand new. Took it home and it wouldn't leave the base or do anything. so far so good!
This is our second self emptying vacuum robot from Shark. So far so good! It's smart and gets the job done! our last one was a great quality and worked for a full 5yrs! Hoping to get the same out of this new one.

Do not recommend
I’ve always been a fan of Shark products, but this experience has really changed my perception. I purchased this vacuum just two months ago, and it already needs to be replaced. To get it working again, I had to repackage the entire unit, print a return label, bring it to FedEx, and now I’m left waiting—without a working vacuum and no clear timeline for resolution.

not so hot
I have not been able to use the robot, The battery will not charge. The light is green. When I call the 888 number I get nowhere . The photo will not go thru I called 2 times.. So I am stuck. Fix it, so I can use it.

The best suction level of all brands!
I absolutely LOVE this robot vacuum. I have had other brands and the suction level on the Shark is far superior to the others (I've tried Eufy and Roomba). The battery life is exceptional. No room selection on schedule feature
The app does not allow me to select certain rooms for a schedule. The schedule feature only allows you to schedule the entire house or nothing, unless you want to set ‘no go’ rooms, which isn’t something I want to alter every day. So far, it's doing its job- that being said, this is the second replacement robot I've recieved. I got the original for Christmas. I got the first replacement the end of February, and now this one. Ask me how it's doing at the end of August.

It was great- when it worked
I wanted to love this vacuum- and I did- when it worked. It stopped working the first time, within 3 months of purchase and my replacement never really worked right. Once again- it has lost the map and won’t come off the base. So basically it’s just a decoration now

This is a terrible model.
It has been less than a month since I’ve received the replacement unit and the same problem of it not following the map and finishing a cleaning cycle five minutes into the cycle has started. Was a decent vacuum, now it doesn't vacuum the house. Does a small area, or goes 4-5ft away from doc and gets lost, or vacuums the whole house and never returns to the doc. Great for homes with pets.
This is my forth sharkclean robot. I still use the older units for other locations. It picks up the dog hair, we have 6 dogs. Before we would have to vacuum daily.
The side release on the matrix is not placed well being on the backside by the wall. The top button was better.
