Horrible. The paper rarely stays centered when the scanner starts up and rips up the paper or runs an error. Very time consuming and inefficient.

Great, quick scanner
This is the 4th Epson scanner I purchased (3 for different desks)the most recent is a replacement. One of the original scanners started making a crazy loud clicking noise every time we scanned a document. It was very distracting and LOUD. We opened it and tried cleaning it but still made noise. Great little scanner.
We already had an Epson ES 400 and have been using it daily for 5 years. It is a workhorse and is still going strong. We needed another scanner but something a bit smaller. This one is perfect. Fast and easy to use.

Easy to use, perfect size
Compact machine. Quick scanning. Scans both sides at once. Huge time-saver for my home office. Super easy to install the software as well.

This scanner jams frequently. It's very frustrating because if you are scanning on the normal setting and it's more than one page this happens quite often and then the pages get damaged. You have to slow down the scanning speed and then sometimes it works better (but if it's advertising scanning multiple pages you shouldn't have to do that). I previously had a bro...

Good value - very fast with modern software.
Extremely fast, even with two sided scanning. Desk space is also very small, lets say a commercial paper hole punch in size. The software looks like it is fairly new works well - allowing you to organize the page order and orientation before saving in PDF and other formats.

So-So Scanner
Scanner is very easy to use technologically speaking. Physically near impossible to properly load paper to scan. It folds and crumples the paper while trying to copy it almost every time.
