Easy way to expand your wired network.
Very easy, plug and play installation. I needed to add an additional wired network connection to an adjacent room for a gaming computer. Running a new ethernet cable would require me to climb up into my attic and fish wires through the walls. Installing the Netgear switch allowed me to run a short ethernet cable through the wall without climbing into my attic.

Very easy, plug and play installation. I needed to add an additional wired network connection to an adjacent room for a gaming computer. NETGEAR Switch GS305v3 it disappoints!
I was hoping by purchasing this update version of a switch I already owned it would solve my problem, but it didn't. I have an internet system that uses 5G on the wireless side, and only 2.4Ghz on the wired connected ethernet cable side, after replacing the switch and even updating the ethernet cable, it didn't do what I had hoped. My 3rd Netgear
Yes, I still have two. I gave the consumer model to a family member. This switch (GS 308x) is fast, works on my 12vdc distro panel adapter. LOVE the quality, the warranty period, this won't be my last unit.
