Cheap

The base is made with cheap material. The receptacle for charging broke after the first use. The radios themselves work ok. we used them in a fishing trip to canada. We had 23 people on the trip. It was fun for safety and to banter with each other. The range is probably 3-5 miles in clear conditons, not 30 plus or whatever the box claims.
