The Show is better than the non-screen echo devices for two reasons. First, having a screen makes things easier (not needing to use a phone for basic control is helpful), and the screen guarantees the device is bigger and acoustically has more ability to project better sound further than a smaller unit (eg Dot and Spot devices).
