Does a good job shredding. I even put a credit card in and it chewed it right up. Was worth the money. Good deal!

Nice light duty shredder

This shredded works well. I find the motor part is a bit heavy for me to pick up when I’m cleaning it out, but I do like the results.

Cross-cut Shredder
So far so good since I haven’t owned this type of shredder before. It’s smaller & quieter than our old one, but it also had a life span of 25 years, so keeping my fingers crossed.

Not a great small shredder
Tends to overheat and can only shred for 7 minutes straight before it turns off for 30 minutes. Also lots of the shredded paper gets caught in the metal shredding spikes.

Do not recommend.
Loud and not very durable. First one stopped after 2 days and got a free replacement. The 2nd one stopped working after about a month. Waste of money.

Mid-level Staples paper shredder.
The shredder is quieter than previous Staples shredders I have bought.
PLUSES:
Automatic forward and reverse cutting when needed, simpler controls.
MINUSES:
Handholds only remove the top half of the shredder, no handholds for bottom half, the paper view window is too small to see the total amount of shredded paper in the bottom half.

It works well, but is noisy.
The unit works as advertised, but the unit is much louder than my previous shredder. I do not like the light staying on when left in the forward / on /auto mode, but the unit can be switched off.

Staples cross cut shredder
I stopped in Staples and remembered my sister was looking for a shredder, so I went to check it out. The sales clerk helped because I couldn’t find them in the store.
So I bought it for her and she is home having a good time with it and getting rid of a lot of old papers!
Definitely would this one!
